Finally found out the location of this photo of Johnny Douglas taken at the premiere of the film Crack in the World in March 1965. It’s the old Plaza Theatre in Piccadilly Circus. Our Dulcima record label is 40 years old. Johnny started it in 1983 so that he could record and conduct his own orchestra playing his compositions and arrangements, and release the music on his own label.

Last night we saw the new film ‘The Railway Children Return’. There were so many similarities to the original film – the best one being when the new railway children arrive at Oakworth Station and the original theme music written by my grandfather Johnny Douglas was featured. It was so moving and emotional. We felt so proud and shed a few tears. Grandad passed 19 years ago and his phenomenal legacy lives on. We miss him and love always.
